  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ¾ cups (350g) granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup (150g) brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (120g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup (170g) chocolate chips
Instructions
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs and vanilla; whisk for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold gently until combined.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 28-32 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Let cool before slicing for cleaner edges.
